Job summary

WorkPac is seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Operator for a leading open cut mining site near Rolleston, Queensland. You will operate Haul Trucks, Water Carts, Loaders, Dozers and Graders to support production and safety on site.

You will conduct pre-start inspections, follow site procedures and communicate effectively with supervisors and crews to achieve targets while maintaining high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Open cut mining experience as a Multi Skilled Operator.
• Experience operating Haul Trucks (CAT 789), Water Carts, Dozers, Graders or Loaders.
• SSE-signed skills list verifying relevant machinery competencies.
• Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical, or willingness to obtain.
• Current Driver's Licence and full Australian working rights.
• Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol screening.
• Strong commitment to safety and safe operating practices.

What Will You Be Doing

• Operating Haul Trucks, Water Carts, Loaders, Dozers and/or Graders
• Supporting production activities within an open cut mining environment
• Conducting pre-start inspections and equipment checks
• Working safely and efficiently to meet production targets
• Following site procedures and operational requirements
• Communicating effectively with supervisors and production crews

What You Will Need

• Previous open cut mining experience as a Multi Skilled Operator
• Demonstrated experience operating Haul Trucks (minimum CAT 789), Water Carts, Dozers, Graders and/or Loaders
• SSE-signed skills list verifying relevant machinery competencies
• Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
• Current Driver's Licence
• Full Australian working rights
• Ability to successfully complete a Drug & Alcohol screening
• Strong commitment to safety and safe operating practices
