Job summary

Three Blue Ducks Pty Ltd is seeking a People & Culture Coordinator to support our growing hospitality business across Sydney, Byron Bay and other locations. The role focuses on people, culture, compliance, risk management, payroll and employee engagement.

Based in Sydney or Byron Bay, you will work with venue leaders and the operations team to strengthen people practices, manage onboarding, performance processes and employee relations, while driving engagement across sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR, People & Culture, Compliance or Operations Administration.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Knowledge of Fair Work, employment legislation and WHS requirements.
• Confidence working across multiple sites and stakeholder groups.
• Hospitality, retail, tourism or multi-site business experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment, advertising and candidate management to fill roles quickly.
• Develop and maintain position descriptions and onboarding programs.
• Support performance reviews, employee relations, and disciplinary processes.
• Organise staff events, wellbeing initiatives and engagement activities.
• Manage payroll checks, employment contracts, references and checks.
• Maintain liquor licensing and RSA compliance onboarding and WHS requirements.
• Assist with visa monitoring and employment compliance.
