Job summary

Richard Crookes Constructions (RCC) IT team is seeking an experienced IT Services Engineer to deliver Level 2 desktop, endpoint and Modern Workplace support across RCC’s offices and construction sites. This hands-on role reports to the Head of IT Service Delivery and requires proactive problem-solving.

You will troubleshoot Windows endpoints, Microsoft 365, VPN and Citrix, mentor Level 1 analysts and contribute to knowledge sharing and documentation.

Qualifications

• At least two years’ IT Service Desk or Level 1/2 support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting across Windows devices and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory or Entra ID, Intune, MFA.
• Experience troubleshooting VPN, basic network and Citrix issues.
• Ability to investigate beyond standard steps and escalate appropriately.
• Experience supporting employees across multiple locations with onsite support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support across Windows endpoints and Microsoft 365.
• Troubleshoot application, access, connectivity, VPN and Citrix issues remotely and onsite.
• Act as escalation point for Level 1 analysts and document tickets clearly.
• Offer approachable, responsive support to employees across levels.
• Assist with technology setup for new starters and onsite tech at project sites.
• Diagnose issues, identify root causes and coordinate escalation to infra or vendors.
• Support endpoint configuration, device deployment and software installs.
• Maintain asset lifecycle records and deployment readiness.
• Maintain and improve technical documentation and SOPs.
• Provide regular updates to users while requests are resolved.
• Identify recurring issues and contribute to service improvements.
