Job summary

Queensland Corrective Services in Mount Isa seeks a temporary full-time Integrated Response Officer to join the High Risk Team. You will coordinate with police, health, housing and other agencies to keep victim survivors safe and hold offenders to account.

The role requires professional discretion, strong communication, and the ability to work across diverse teams in a rural remote setting. Travel and ongoing professional development may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience within a legislative framework underpinning service delivery.
• Ability to work autonomously with sound judgement.
• Experience building effective relationships across QCS and other agencies.
• Professional, respectful communication with colleagues, offenders and stakeholders.
• Experience engaging with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and assistance to High-Risk Teams (HRT) integrated responses with other agencies.
• Represent QCS on place-based HRT and ensure actions are carried out as determined by the HRT.
• Support safety of victim survivors and accountability for offenders.
• Collaborate with partners across agencies to deliver coordinated responses.
