Job summary

The Department of Housing and Works is seeking a Statewide Senior Response Officer to support flexible frontline housing services across Western Australia. You will rotate to regions, delivering tenancy and client services while coordinating maintenance and asset management.

The role requires adaptability to varied environments and a commitment to culturally responsive practice. Travel across WA is a key aspect, with deployments to metropolitan, regional and remote communities.

Qualifications

• Experience in tenancy management or property management
• Customer service experience
• Community services or human services background
• Ability to work across metropolitan, regional and remote locations
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Good judgment and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to travel and adapt to different environments

Responsibilities

• Deliver tenancy, property and client service functions across Housing Service roles
• Support sustainable tenancy outcomes with person-centred service delivery
• Assist tenants to access housing assistance and support services
• Coordinate property inspections and maintenance activities
• Support regions with workforce shortages or operational disruption
• Collaborate with regional teams, contractors and community partners
• Contribute to service continuity and consistent housing delivery across WA
