Relationships Australia Queensland (RAQ) is seeking a Team Leader to join the Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) Co-response Service in Cairns on a fixed-term basis until 30 September 2027. In this acting role, you will provide operational and clinical oversight, lead a multidisciplinary team, and collaborate with the Queensland Police Service to deliver client-centred responses.

Qualifications

• Relevant undergraduate qualification in Business, Social/Behavioural Sciences and/or Law.
• Leadership skills to engage, motivate, and influence organisational culture.
• Knowledge of community service provision and DFV practice.
• Experience in client service delivery including complex case management and risk screening.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily activities of service delivery staff.
• Provide management support for clinical practitioners and duty of care oversight.
• Deliver services including complex case management, intake and risk screening.
• Implement regional Operational Plan with the Regional Manager.
• Mentor and coach direct reports to build competencies.
• Use data to identify and drive service improvements.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development.
