Job summary

Queensland Corrective Services in North West Queensland is seeking a permanent Senior Case Manager to oversee community-based case management in the Doomadgee region. You will deliver high-quality services under Community Corrections, supervise adults under Community Based Orders and Parole, and work to reduce re-offending while supporting clients to achieve meaningful change.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Able to work self-sufficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to travel and operate across locations.
• Certificate IV in Correctional Practice to be completed within 12 months; certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high level of community safety through effective case management.
• Address assessed risks and needs of clients in the community.
• Address offending behaviour and encourage rehabilitation within a team environment.
• Build and maintain working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
