Fortunext holdings pty Ltd is seeking a Motel Operations Manager to oversee the daily running of the property, lead a professional team, and ensure a high standard of guest service.

You will manage budgets, supervise staff, ensure legal and safety compliance, coordinate bookings, and work with housekeeping and front office to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Salary range: $80,000–$85,000 per year. Visa sponsorship not offered.

Qualifications

• Requires AQF Associate Degree or higher in Hotel/Motel Management.
• 3 years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.
• Proven track record of team leadership and operational success.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the daily operation of the motel.
• Leading, supervising, and developing staff to foster a productive and professional workplace culture.
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable legal, health, and safety requirements and internal policies.
• Managing financial aspects including budgeting, expenditures, and revenue optimisation.
• Coordinating upkeep and presentation of the property and facilities.
• Handling guest relations, inquiries, complaints, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Overseeing booking processes and availability through property management systems.
• Facilitating communication between departments to ensure seamless daily function.
