Job summary

Hilliard Finance is seeking a hands-on associate to learn the full mortgage process from start to finish under an owner who teaches. You may be writing your own deals within six months with the right attitude and effort, and you’ll be trained across the full deal cycle by the owner.

You will perform credit analysis, servicing calculations, and prepare files for lender submission, gaining practical experience on live transactions and settlements.

Qualifications

• Wants to be developed into a broker, not just fill a support seat.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort with numbers.
• Clear communication and the drive to follow a file until it settles.
• Willingness to learn quickly and take ownership of tasks.
• Direct training from the owner across the full deal cycle.
• A clear path from associate work to writing your own loans.
• KPIs tied to commission, plus referral incentives built into the role.
