BID Capital is a Brisbane mortgage and finance brokerage offering practical guidance, administrative support and structured guidance from experienced brokers. You can start without an existing loan book and will be guided as you grow your client base through seminars and networking events.

This commission-only contractor role focuses on building lending pipelines, developing relationships with referral partners and delivering a high level of client service.

Build your career in mortgage broking with support behind you

Starting in mortgage broking involves more than learning lender policies. You need to find clients, earn their trust, understand their circumstances and guide applications through to settlement.

At BID Capital, we’re looking for someone who wants to develop those skills and build a long-term career in broking. You’ll work directly with our principals, with practical guidance, administrative support and opportunities to participate in the activities that help us generate business.

You may be early in your broking career or moving from banking, lending, broker support, property or sales. You do not need an existing loan book.

What you’ll do

You’ll develop referral relationships, engage prospective clients and build your lending pipeline. With appropriate guidance and authorisation, you’ll help clients understand their borrowing options and manage applications through to settlement.

Your work will include:

• Understanding clients’ circumstances, needs and lending objectives.
• Researching suitable lending options and explaining recommendations clearly.
• Working with the team to prepare and progress applications.
• Following up enquiries, maintaining accurate records and keeping clients updated.
• Developing relationships with referral partners and participating in business development activities.
• Maintaining high standards of client care, responsible lending and compliance.

What makes someone a good fit?

You communicate well, follow through on commitments and take responsibility for your work. You enjoy building relationships and are willing to contact prospective clients, follow up opportunities and develop your own referral network.

You must hold a completed Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking when you apply. We welcome newly qualified applicants who are ready to complete the relevant accreditation and mentoring requirements. Experience in lending, finance, property, sales or customer service will be well regarded.

The remuneration arrangement

This is a commission-only contractor opportunity with uncapped earning potential. With favourable upfront commission splits, your earnings can grow as you build your client base and settle more loans.

You’ll have experienced brokers to turn to, a team to help progress your applications, and opportunities to meet prospective clients and referral partners through BID Capital’s seminars and networking events.
