Qualifications

• Experience in a Mohs surgery clinic is a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate day-to-day operations of the specialist medical practice.
• Develop, implement and monitor administrative policies, procedures and service standards.
• Manage and supervise non-clinical staff, including recruitment, onboarding and training.
• Prepare and oversee staff rosters, leave management and workforce planning.
• Conduct employee performance reviews and manage performance issues.
• Manage practice budgets and monitor operational expenditure.
• Negotiate and manage relationships with suppliers, contractors and providers.
• Oversee Medicare billing, private billing systems and revenue management processes.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare, privacy, WHS and employment law.
• Coordinate accreditation activities and quality assurance.
• Develop and maintain risk governance and compliance procedures.
• Manage implementation and maintenance of practice management software and IT systems.
• Liaise with medical specialists regarding operational requirements.
• Monitor patient service standards and drive process improvements.
• Prepare management reports on staffing, operations and financials.
• Plan and implement strategic initiatives to improve efficiency and capacity.
• Represent the practice with external organisations, bodies, regulators.
