Sydney Specialist Dermatology is seeking an experienced operations manager to direct the day-to-day activities of a specialist medical practice in Sydney. You will implement administrative policies, supervise non-clinical staff, manage rosters and budgets, and ensure compliance with Medicare and safety regulations.

You will coordinate governance, IT systems, supplier relationships and accreditation programs while driving enhancements to patient experience and service delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in Mohs surgery clinic is a requirement.

Aufgaben

• Direct and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the specialist medical practice.
• Develop, implement and monitor administrative policies, procedures and service standards.
• Manage and supervise non-clinical staff, including recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management.
• Prepare and oversee staff rosters, leave management and workforce planning.
• Conduct employee performance reviews and manage workplace performance issues.
• Manage practice budgets and monitor operational expenditure.
• Negotiate and manage relationships with suppliers, contractors and service providers.
• Oversee Medicare billing, private billing systems and revenue management processes.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare, privacy, workplace health and safety and employment legislation.
• Coordinate accreditation activities and quality assurance programs.
• Develop and maintain risk management, governance and compliance procedures.
• Manage the implementation and maintenance of practice management software, IT systems and administrative infrastructure.
• Liaise with medical specialists regarding operational requirements and service delivery.
• Monitor patient service standards and implement process improvements to enhance patient experience.
• Prepare management reports relating to staffing, operational performance and financial performance.
• Plan and implement strategic business initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity and service capacity.
• Represent the practice in dealings with external organisations, professional bodies, suppliers, regulators and service providers.
