Job summary

Mobile Doc is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to lead our mobile phone and telecommunications retail store in the Newcastle area. You will oversee daily operations, staff, inventory, purchasing, and customer service to meet sales and operating targets.

The role requires a relevant business or retail management qualification and at least 3 years of experience. You will implement sales strategies, monitor performance and maintain brand standards to maximise profitability.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or diploma in business, management or retail management.
• Experience supervising retail staff and driving performance.
• Strong understanding of inventory, purchasing and store operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and oversee day-to-day operations to ensure profitable performance.
• Determine product ranges and stock levels based on sales trends and demand.
• Develop purchasing, pricing, marketing and promotions to drive revenue.
• Monitor costs and financial performance against budgets and targets.
• Manage inventory, supplier coordination and procurement requirements.
• Recruit, train, schedule and evaluate retail staff to standards.
• Maintain store presentation, pricing and brand standards.
• Respond to customer enquiries and resolve issues to protect satisfaction.
• Analyze sales trends and competitor activity to inform improvements.
• Prepare store performance reports for management.
