MAHADEV EMPIRE PTY LTD, based in New South Wales, is seeking a Retail Manager to oversee day-to-day retail operations, drive sales, manage inventory, and lead a team to deliver exceptional customer service. The role focuses on profitability, efficiency, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will plan stock, coordinate with suppliers, and implement promotions to maximise revenue, while maintaining high service standards and a safe workplace.

Qualifications

• AQF associate degree or diploma in business, retail management, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as Retail or Store Manager.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good communication and customer service abilities.
• Knowledge of inventory control, sales processes and basic financial management.

Responsibilities

• Develop purchasing strategies and marketing plans while setting pricing.
• Plan and organise product range and stock levels.
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and quality.
• Monitor inventory with regular stock checks and maintain records.
• Prepare budgets, manage expenses and ensure cost-effective operations.
• Promote and advertise products to attract customers and increase sales.
• Sell goods and assist customers with product guidance.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints to improve satisfaction.
• Recruit, train and supervise staff to maintain productivity.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
