Nationwide Sales Service and Rentals in Biggera Waters, QLD, seeks an experienced Forklift Field Service Technician to join our field-based team. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose faults, and repair forklift equipment at client sites across the region.

This full-time role requires you to manage multiple jobs, maintain detailed service reports, and communicate clearly with customers about repairs and costs, while upholding safety standards and quality expectations.

Formación

• Qualified and experienced Forklift Technician.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with forklift diagnostics and repair.
• Proficiency with hydraulic systems, engines, transmissions, and electrical components.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to customer sites across the region.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and servicing on a variety of forklift models and material handling equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and technical expertise.
• Repair and replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
• Conduct field repairs at customer sites, minimising downtime and disruption to operations.
• Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records of all work performed using AroFlo.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair status, recommendations, and costs.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain and organise tools and equipment, reporting any shortages or required replacements.
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls and prioritise jobs accordingly.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
