Job summary

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in mobile plant tech or related field.
• Experience servicing forklifts or similar machinery.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical diagnostics.
• Current driver’s licence required.
• Forklift licence advantageous.
• Ability to read schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, repairs and maintenance on materials handling equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults.
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Complete breakdown repairs in workshop and field environments.
• Install, commission and test equipment.
• Provide technical support and advice to customers.
• Maintain accurate service records and parts usage.
• Ensure work is completed safely and per procedures.
• Collaborate with technicians and departments to meet objectives.
• Deliver high level of customer service and professionalism.
