Job summary

Aeris Resources Limited is seeking an Apprentice Diesel Fitter at Tritton Operations, Nyngan, NSW. You will learn to maintain and repair heavy mining equipment, diagnose issues and perform servicing whilst completing your trade qualification in a real-world mining environment.

You will work under supervision, develop practical skills with experienced tradespeople, and contribute to a strong safety culture in a long-life copper operation.

Qualifications

• Valid Manual Driver's Licence is required.
• Relevant work experience, trades pre-apprenticeship, or demonstrated prior knowledge are advantageous.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong work ethic with commitment to health, safety and environmental practices.
• Ability to follow direction and procedures while showing initiative for improvements.

The Nitty Gritty

Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Superintendent you will learn to maintain and repair heavy mining machinery and equipment, diagnose mechanical issues and perform servicing tasks, work safely within a mining operation, develop practical skills alongside qualified tradespeople, and complete your trade qualification while gaining real-world experience.

The Company

Tritton Operations

Tritton Copper Operations is a long-life copper mine located near the towns of Nyngan andCobar in central New South Wales. Commencing production in 2005, Tritton is 100% ownedand operated by Aeris Resources and forms the cornerstone of our copper production.

Tritton mines from multiple sources and as we look to bring more mines into production, wearetransitioning to a ‘hub-and-spoke’ model where ore is transported to our centralised millfor processing.
