Aeris Resources Limited is seeking an Apprentice Diesel Fitter at Tritton Operations, Nyngan, NSW. You will learn to maintain and repair heavy mining machinery, diagnose issues, and conduct servicing tasks while adhering to safety standards in a mining environment.

You will work under the Mobile Maintenance Superintendent, gain practical skills, and complete your trade qualification through hands-on experience. A strong safety culture and team collaboration are essential to success.

Qualificações

• Valid Manual Drivers Licence.
• Relevant work experience, a trades pre-apprenticeship, or demonstrated prior knowledge will be highly regarded.
• Willingness to contribute toward the success of your team while supporting a positive team culture.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong work ethic with a commitment to health, safety and environmental work practices.
• Ability to follow direction and procedures, while showing initiative and searching for improvement opportunities.

Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Superintendent you will learn to maintain and repair heavy mining machinery and equipment, diagnose mechanical issues and perform servicing tasks, work safely within a mining operation, develop practical skills alongside qualified tradespeople, and complete your trade qualification while gaining real-world experience.

The Company

Tritton Operations

Tritton Copper Operations is a long-life copper mine located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales. Commencing production in 2005, Tritton is 100% owned and operated by Aeris Resources and forms the cornerstone of our copper production.

Tritton mines from multiple sources and as we look to bring more mines into production, we are transitioning to a hub-and-spoke model where ore is transported to our centralised mill for processing.
