Job summary

Aeris Resources is seeking a Heavy Diesel Fitter to join the Tritton Operations team. You will repair and maintain a fleet of trucks, loaders, drills and underground equipment across the mine site, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.

A strong fault-finding ability and team focus are essential for success at this site in NSW. Ideal candidates will hold HV Fitter trade qualifications and an air-conditioning accreditation; Australian working rights are required.

Qualifications

• HV Fitter trade qualifications required.
• Air-conditioning accreditation and experience highly regarded.
• Experience in underground mining or similar heavy machinery.
• Demonstrated fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Strong time management and communication abilities.
• Be self-motivated with a team-focused attitude.
• Australian working rights (PR or citizenship) must be held.

Responsibilities

• Work under the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure reliability and uptime.

The Nitty Gritty

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will be working to repair and maintain an extensive fleet of trucks, loaders, drills and underground equipment across the mine site.

What you Bring:

• HV Fitter Trade qualifications
• Air-conditioning accreditation and experience highly regarded
• Demonstrated experience in underground mining working on heavy machinery or a similar field
• Well-developed fault-finding skills
• High standard of work quality
• Be self-motivated and have a team orientated approach
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Australian working rights – either Permanent Residency or Citizenship

The Company

Tritton Operations

Tritton Copper Operations is a long-life copper mine located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales. Commencing production in 2005, Tritton is 100% owned and operated by Aeris Resources and forms the cornerstone of our copper production.

Tritton mines from multiple sources and as we look to bring more mines into production, weare transitioning to a ‘hub-and-spoke’ model where ore is transported to our centralised mill for processing.
