Job summary

Cubic Transportation Systems in Brisbane is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide frontline technical support and maintenance for Automated Ticketing Systems across customer networks. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, diagnose faults, deploy software, and respond to incidents to ensure system availability, safety, and contractual KPIs, on a rostered schedule.

This role requires hands-on electrical/IT capabilities, valid Queensland license, and strong communication

Qualifications

Relevant trade or technical qualifications in electrical, IT, or telecommunications.
Queensland GC Induction card CPCWHS1001 required.
Rail Industry Worker (RIW) card required.
Valid, unrestricted Queensland driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Automated Ticketing Systems and related assets.
Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve faults in equipment, software, network and systems.
Use diagnostic tools and documentation to identify faults to component level.
Respond to incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs and priorities.
Complete work per system specs, SWMS, SOPs and safety requirements.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation in ServiceNow or other systems.
Provide professional technical communication to customers and internal stakeholders.
Identify and report safety risks and improvement opportunities to management.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.
