Job summary

Principal 1 Limited in Australia seeks an onsite field service engineer to provide customer support and issue resolution at client sites. You will operate as a mobile technician, managing open tickets and ensuring prompt responses to maintain high customer satisfaction.

You will follow service standards, update the helpdesk, carry out installations and preventive maintenance, and work with a team to meet KPIs while adapting to busy periods and overtime when required.

Qualifications

• Printer hardware knowledge on Kyocera/Canon/Konica Minolta devices.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft networks and services.
• Experience with DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, LDAP, and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with Print Management and Document Management software.
• Konica Minolta and Canon accreditations achieved to professional/intermediate levels.

Responsibilities

• Be conversant with Service Call Control systems and escalation procedures.
• Carry out Minimum Call Procedure on every Service Call as per guidelines.
• Communicate with Helpdesk if on-site issues exceed planned time or require other machines.
• Complete service calls with accurate details, part numbers, and meter readings.
• Return warranty parts to Head Office with warranty sheets and documentation.
