Job summary

Crusher & Screen Hire Pty Ltd on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Mobile Crusher Operator to join our production team. You will operate, monitor and maintain tracked mobile crushing and screening plants across local quarry and concrete recycling facilities.

This is a stable, long‑term role with consistent local hours and good penalty rates. Shift is Monday to Friday 6am–5pm, with Saturdays as overtime as per site requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating mobile tracked crushing and screening equipment.
• Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic mechanical faults.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and shut down tracked mobile jaw, cone, and impact crushers.
• Safely load materials into the hopper using heavy plant equipment.
• Monitor conveyors, clear blockages and adjust settings to meet product specs.
• Perform daily pre-start checks, routine greasing and screen changes.
• Adhere to site safety protocols at all times.

Job description

Crusher & Screen Hire are seeking an experienced, safety-focusedMobile Crusher Operatorto join our growing production team. In this role, you will operate, monitor, and maintain tracked mobile crushing and screening plants across our local quarry and concrete recycling facilities. This is a stable, long-term position offering consistent local hours and excellent penalty rates. This position is Monday to Friday 6am till 5pm, with Saturdays as overtime as per site requirements.

Machine Operation:Setup, operate, and shut down tracked mobile jaw, cone, and impact crushers.

Plant Feeding:Safely load raw materials into the hopper using heavy plant machinery.

Production Monitoring:Clear blockages, monitor conveyor feeds, and adjust machine settings to meet strict product size specifications.

Maintenance & Cleanliness:Perform daily pre-start checks, routine greasing, screen changes, and basic mechanical troubleshooting.

Safety Compliance:Adhere strictly to site safety protocols,

Minimum 2 years of experience operating mobile tracked crushing and screening equipment.

Valid RII National Competency tickets forFront End Loader (LL)and/orExcavator (LE).

Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic mechanical plant faults.

A strong, proactive commitment to workplace health and safety.

Must pass a mandatory pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen.

Valid Australian Driver's Licence and reliable transport (Heavy Rigid / HR licence is a major plus
