Job summary

HR Partners is seeking an experienced Heavy Machinery Operator to join a leading Australian mobile crushing, screening, and materials processing provider in Queensland. You will operate heavy earthmoving plant to feed crushers, screens, pugmills, and blending equipment across quarry, mining, and civil works.

Key duties include operating 50-tonne excavators and 40-tonne wheel loaders, maintaining feed rates, performing pre-start checks, assisting with basic maintenance, and complying with site

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy earthmoving plant on quarry/mining sites.
• Ability to manage stockpiles and feed processing equipment.
• Strong safety focus and adherence to site rules.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 50-tonne excavators and 40-tonne wheel loaders to feed processing equipment.
• Maintain optimal feed rates into mobile crushers, screens, pugmills and blenders.
• Complete pre-start checks, assist with routine maintenance and basic fault troubleshooting.
• Adhere to site WHS procedures and environmental and safety plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate 50-tonne excavators and 40-tonne wheel loaders to feed processing plant, manage stockpiles, and handle raw materials.
• Maintain optimal feed rates into mobile crushers, screening units, and blending equipment.
• Complete pre-start checklists, assist with routine machine maintenance, and perform basic fault troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
• Adhere strictly to site WHS procedures, environmental regulations (e.g., dust and noise controls), and site-specific safety plans.
