Job summary

Noumi Limited is seeking a production operator to join our fast-paced food manufacturing team. You will operate automated batching and mixing systems, weigh ingredients to spec, and ensure products are made safely, efficiently and to quality standards.

You will collaborate across Operations, Quality and Engineering to drive reliability, problem solve, and maintain accurate production records while upholding a clean and safe workplace. A forklift license is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in food, beverage or FMCG manufacturing.
• Experience operating batching, mixing or processing equipment (desirable).
• Understanding of food safety, GMP and quality standards is required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and procedures.
• Proactive problem solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated mixing and batching equipment.
• Accurately weigh and prepare ingredients according to approved recipes.
• Complete batching activities while maintaining food safety and quality standards.
• Perform product testing and quality checks throughout production.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues and escalate when required.
• Support production targets through effective equipment operation and problem solving.
• Work with Operations, Quality and Engineering teams to drive reliability and continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate production records and ensure a safe, clean working environment.

The Opportunity

Working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for operating automated batching and mixing systems, preparing ingredients, and ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently and in line with quality standards.

• Operate and monitor automated mixing and batching equipment.
• Accurately weigh and prepare ingredients according to approved recipes.
• Complete batching activities while maintaining food safety and quality standards.
• Perform product testing and quality checks throughout production.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, escalating where required.
• Support production targets through effective equipment operation and problem solving.
• Work closely with Operations, Quality and Engineering teams to drive reliability and continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate production records and ensure a safe, clean working environment.

What you’ll bring

• Previous experience in food, beverage or FMCG manufacturing (highly desirable).
• Experience operating batching, mixing or processing equipment (desirable).
• Understanding of food safety, GMP and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following recipes and procedures.
• A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• A forklift licence and experience operating forklifts (desirable).
