Job summary

Noumi Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our Shepparton manufacturing team. You will work on UHT processing and packaging lines in a 24/7 rotating shift, performing preventative and corrective maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.

You will collaborate with Operations and Reliability teams, apply fault-finding, diagnostics and RC analysis, and contribute to ongoing site improvements in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• A current A-Class Electrical Licence (or equivalent).
• Experience as Industrial Electrician in FMCG/food or beverage manufacturing.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment, ideally UHT filling/packaging.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance across UHT processing, filling and packaging equipment.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns with fault finding and root cause analysis.
• Support production through line tuning, centre lining and process optimisation.
• Drive continuous improvement to increase reliability and reduce downtime.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks and capitalise on planned maintenance opportunities.

The Opportunity

Were looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to join our Shepparton manufacturing team. Working within a 24/7 rotating shift roster, youll play a critical role in maintaining and improving the performance of our UHT processing and packaging lines, ensuring equipment reliability and minimising downtime.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced FMCG environment, partnering closely with Operations and Reliability teams while contributing to continuous improvement across the site.

Performing preventative and corrective maintenance across UHT processing, filling and packaging equipment.

Responding to equipment breakdowns, carrying out fault finding, diagnostics and root cause analysis.

Supporting production through line tuning, centre lining and process optimisation.

Driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.

Completing preventative maintenance tasks and capitalising on planned maintenance opportunities.

What youll bring

A current A-Class Electrical Licence (or equivalent).

Previous experience as an Industrial Electrician within an FMCG, food or beverage manufacturing environment.

Experience working on automated manufacturing equipment, ideally Tetra Pak UHT filling and packaging systems.

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across electrical control systems.

Experience interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and OEM documentation.

Exposure to PLCs, instrumentation, SCADA or industrial automation systems.

Experience using a CMMS such as MEX (or similar).

A proactive approach to safety, continuous improvement and preventative maintenance.
