Job summary

Australian Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications, Sport and the Arts – Canberra ACT is seeking an APS4 Ministerial Services Officer. You will support the ministerial workflow process, manage documents, and provide guidance to staff and agencies to meet ministerial and parliamentary obligations.

You will exercise discretion, support courier services, assist with system improvements, and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

• Process ministerial correspondence in line with requirements.
• Exercise discretion and judgement, including escalation of matters.
• Provide courier services and handle documents securely.
• Helpdesk duties via group mailbox and phone hotline.
• Assist with system/process improvements and staff guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Process ministerial correspondence per department rules.
• Provide courier services to ministers’ offices and manage secure handling of documents.
• Support stakeholders with information and guidance under supervision.
• Maintain and improve guidelines and information for staff in PDMS+.
• Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
