Job summary

Global Advanced Metals seeks a Training Coordinator to coordinate and deliver training across processing sites, driving inductions, competency assessments and programs to meet site, regulatory and company requirements.

The successful candidate will bring at least five years of mining processing experience, a Cert IV in Training and Assessment, and strong capability in training design, delivery and record-keeping to support safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in mining production and/or processing operations.
• Minimum Cert IV in Training and Assessment.
• Residentially based no further than one hour from Greenbushes WA.
• Experience in competency-based training and assessment within a mining or processing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Work Health and Safety Act 2022 and WA mining legislation.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver training materials and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver training, inductions and competency assessments for processing personnel to ensure compliance with site, statutory and company requirements
• Conduct Verification of Competency (VOC) assessments on fixed plant equipment, including workplace observations in both field and office environments
• Maintain and review training programs, Training Needs Analysis (TNA), and competency requirements to ensure all personnel remain compliant and appropriately skilled
• Maintain accurate training records, reports and documentation to meet company and regulatory obligations
• Monitor workforce competency and compliance, ensuring all operators meet statutory, safety and operational standards
• Work closely with all departments to support ongoing competency development and continuous improvement
• Provide support, supervision and management to trainers in the team and assist with additional duties as required.
