Job summary

Fetch Recruitment Pty is seeking experienced Training Advisors for a FIFO role based in WA, delivering training and competency programs to processing personnel in a mining environment. You’ll conduct needs analyses, develop training plans and verify competencies while coaching leaders to improve workforce capability.

Applicants should have 2–3 years’ mining training experience, essential tickets, and a WA driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience delivering workplace training and competency assessments in a mining environment
• Experience developing and delivering competency-based training programs
• Experience undertaking Training Needs Analyses and developing training plans
• Strong coaching, communication and facilitation skills with the ability to engage people at all levels
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is essential
• Working at heights and confined space entry/gas test atmospheres tickets are essential
• Current WA manual driver’s licence is essential
• Experience in a gold processing operation is essential

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and deliver training and competency programs for processing personnel
• Conduct Training Needs Analyses and maintain departmental training plans
• Carry out Verification of Competency (VOC) assessments and maintain competency frameworks
• Coach supervisors and leaders on workforce capability and training planning
• Coordinate internal and external training, including providers and logistics
• Keep accurate training and qualification records, and report on compliance and competency gaps
• Build a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the processing team
