Job summary

MLG Oz is seeking a full-time Training Advisor to join our Learning & Development Team on a FIFO roster from Perth. You will deliver workplace training and assessments across mine site operations, supporting competency development and safe work practices.

Experience in crushing and screening or mining and civil operations is essential, with Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. You will work 2 weeks on, 1 week off, enjoy day shift, and benefit from full PPE provision and a supportive,

Qualifications

• FIFO mine site experience – Essential.
• Demonstrated training and assessment experience within crushing and screening, mining and/or civil operations.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety – Desirable.
• Practical knowledge across mobile/ fixed plant operations in mining or civil environments.
• Strong communication and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivering face‑to‑face structured training and workplace assessments.
• Providing operational training and coaching to enhance capability and competency of employees.
• Conducting competency assessments across plant, equipment and operations.
• Maintaining accurate training and competency records.
• Promoting safe work practices and continuous improvement.
