Job summary

Hunter Valley Operations is seeking a Training Officer to deliver and support site-wide training and competency programs. You will work with leaders and employees to build workforce capability, drive compliance, and foster a strong learning and safety culture on site.

Responsibilities include maintaining training records, updating materials, and coordinating with Supervisors and the Training Coordinator to implement development plans while supporting continuous improvement and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Experience with training programs in industrial/mining environments is preferred.
• Commitment to safety, quality training materials, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and support training and competency programs across site.
• Maintain training records and documentation in LMS.
• Review and update training materials, assessments and resources.
• Coordinate with Training Coordinator, Superintendents, and stakeholders to implement training plans.
• Support workforce capability development through coaching and engagement.
