Job summary

Hunter Valley Operations is seeking a confident Training Officer to deliver and support site-wide training and competency programs. You will work with leaders and employees to build workforce capability, ensure safety compliance, and maintain accurate training records in the LMS.

Reporting to the Training Coordinator, you will review materials, update assessments, and coordinate training plans across the site while contributing to a strong learning culture and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) required.
• Experience as Training Officer/Trainer in industrial/mining environment preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills essential.
• Proficiency with learning management systems and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and support training and competency programs across site.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety requirements.
• Maintain training records in LMS and documentation.
• Review and update training materials and assessments for currency.
• Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders to plan training and compliance.
• Support coaching and workforce capability development.
