Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking a Project Engineer to support the delivery of a major mining and mineral construction project, initially based in our Perth office. The role involves planning, engineering and mobilisation during early phases before transitioning to site on a 2:1 FIFO roster during execution.

The project offers strong continuity with potential for ongoing work across our pipeline and exposure to large-scale resource projects with Tier 1 clients.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working for a contractor, developing project/construction schedules and work packs, completing progress reporting and monitoring milestones.
• Clear written and technical skills with demonstrated capability in commercials, budgets/construction metrics and change management.
• Relevant tertiary qualification.
• Perth-based, with an ability to undertake a 2:1 roster.

Responsibilities

• Workpack development and aiding with planning, scheduling and executing the scope of work including organising project resources, equipment and materials/procurement as directed to meet project or contractual requirements
• Provide advice, technical or functional information as required to Supervision and project staff involved in the execution of work
• Identify hazards and advise on safety procedures. Actively monitor work practices to ensure adherence to correct procedures and standards for safety and environmental performance
• Work in accordance with quality assurance procedures, client specifications and ISO requirements
• Assist project team with commissioning support
