Job summary

South32 is seeking a Coordinator Processing Services at its Cannington operation in northwest Queensland. The permanent role offers an 8:6 roster with FIFO options from Brisbane or Townsville and DIDO from Mount Isa, Cloncurry and McKinlay Shires.

Qualifications

• Mining or mineral processing experience with contractor management.
• Experience in earthworks, materials handling and water pumping.
• Proven leadership and development to support engagement and inclusion.
• Clear communication and productive stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contractor work plans, resource allocation and site-standard compliance.
• Manage water treatment, dewatering and environmental preparedness.
• Oversee spillage recovery, minor works and tailings-related activities.
• Monitor budgets, review contractor claims and drive service improvements.
