Job summary

South32 is seeking a Coordinator Processing Services at the Cannington operation in northwest Queensland. This permanent role offers an 8:6 roster with FIFO options from Brisbane or Townsville and DIDO from Mount Isa, Cloncurry and McKinlay Shires.

Qualifications

• Experience in mineral processing or mining operations.
• Contractor management experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to coach teams.
• Clear communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contractor work plans, resource allocation and compliance with site standards.
• Manage water treatment, dewatering and wet season preparedness to meet environmental obligations.
• Oversee spillage recovery, minor works and tailings-related activities.
• Monitor budgets, review contractor claims and implement service improvements.
