Job summary

South32 is seeking a Coordinator Processing Services at our Cannington operation in northwest Queensland. The role involves coordinating planning, delivery and performance of processing support services to ensure safe, reliable operations and efficient performance.

You will lead contractor management, water treatment and tailings-related activities, with exposure to budgets and continuous service improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in mineral processing or mining operations with contractor management.
• Experience with earthworks, materials handling and water pumping.
• Proven leadership and coaching abilities to support engagement and inclusion.
• Clear communication and collaborative decision-making.
• Stakeholder relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contractor work plans, resource allocation and compliance with site standards.
• Manage water treatment, dewatering and wet season preparedness to meet environmental obligations.
• Oversee spillage recovery, minor works and tailings-related activities.
• Monitor budgets, review contractor claims and implement service improvements.
