Job summary

South32 Group Operations Pty. Ltd. in Queensland is seeking a permanent Coordinator Processing Services to oversee planning, delivery and performance of processing support services across operations.

The role supports safe, reliable and efficient processing performance on site, with 8:6 roster and FIFO options from Brisbane or Townsville and DIDO from Mount Isa, Cloncurry and McKinlay Shires. You will coordinate contractor work plans, manage water treatment and tailings-related activities, and

Qualifications

• Experience in mineral processing or mining operations with contractor management.
• Knowledge of earthworks, materials handling and water pumping.
• Experience in team leadership and coaching.
• Clear communication and stakeholder relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contractor work plans, resource allocation and compliance with site standards.
• Manage water treatment, dewatering and wet season preparedness to meet environmental obligations.
• Oversee spillage recovery, minor works and tailings-related activities.
• Monitor budgets, review contractor claims and implement service improvements.
