Northern Star Resources Limited is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our Thunderbox Operations on a permanent, full-time roster. This role suits a proactive safety professional with mining and FIFO experience, offering long-term stability and rewarding career opportunities.

You will partner with site WHS teams, manage the SMS, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement while upholding our STARR Core Values.

Qualifications

• Experience in mining or mineral processing operations with strong risk management processes.
• Desirable ICAM knowledge.
• Desirable air quality and noise monitoring qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site WHS teams and leaders to drive safety outcomes.
• Support and improve the Safety Management System (SMS).
• Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments.
• Assist with serious incident investigations and tracking corrective actions.
• Ensure statutory reporting is completed within required timeframes.
• Coordinate corporate drug and alcohol testing programs.
• Support inductions for corporate and site-based staff.
• Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset.
• Ensure environmental compliance and responsible site practices.
