Job summary

Northern Star Resources Limited, Thunderbox Operations in the Northern Goldfields, WA, is seeking a dedicated Human Resources professional to join the site-based HR team on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster, flying in/out of Perth. This permanent full-time role reports to the HR Superintendent and offers opportunities to learn and develop in a dynamic, outcome-focused environment.

The role includes advising leaders on employment and industrial relations matters, driving employee engagement,

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in HR or related discipline.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with SAP SuccessFactors or similar HRIS.
• Knowledge of Fair Work Act, NES, WHS and anti-discrimination laws.
• Understanding of employee relations and enterprise agreements.
• Valid C class driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and support to leaders on employment and industrial relations matters.
• Partner with site leadership to drive employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture.
• Be the primary contact for HR and payroll enquiries, monitoring the central inbox.
• Support employee investigations and issue resolution with a proactive, risk-based approach.
• Contribute to HR strategies, policies and procedures development and implementation.
• Manage employee contract variations, site transfers and HR data integrity.
• Facilitate leadership development programs and deliver HR-related training.
