Job summary

Pearson Carter is recruiting for a FIFO Level 2/3 IT Support Engineer to support a remote mining site in Western Australia. You will work hands-on across desktop, networking, wireless, servers and site technology, with on-site accommodation, meals, and camp facilities.

The role is a three-month contract with strong potential to extend based on performance and site needs. You will engage with Cisco, Dell, Cisco UCS and Pure Storage environments as part of a broad technology stack.

Qualifications

• FIFO experience in mining or remote-site environments.
• Strong Level 2/3 IT support across desktop, networking and infrastructure.
• Troubleshooting Windows devices, servers, switches and wireless.
• Ability to work independently and communicate with site users and technical teams.
• Available to commence quickly in demanding remote-site conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 IT support to users across a remote mining operation.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, Windows environments, networking and site infrastructure.
• Support servers, storage and enterprise technologies (Cisco, Dell, Cisco UCS, Pure Storage).
• Diagnose incidents, perform maintenance and escalate complex issues.
• Maintain clear documentation and deliver dependable customer service.
