Job summary

Paxus is seeking an experienced End User Desktop Support Specialist to provide onsite IT support in a remote site environment near Adelaide. The role operates on a FIFO roster from Adelaide, with a 1 week on / 1 week off pattern, and 12-hour shifts from Thursday to Wednesday.

Flights and accommodation are provided, with meals on site. Responsibilities include delivering Level 1 desktop support, hardware builds, and troubleshooting, plus incident management and coordination with vendors and

• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and applications.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a site environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite Level 1 IT and desktop support, including laptop builds and troubleshooting.
• Support hardware, applications, unified communications and guest networks.
• Troubleshoot desktop and application issues and provide face-to-face support to end users.
• Manage incidents and service requests through to resolution.
• Perform daily meeting room diagnostic checks.
• Coordinate printer maintenance, consumables and hardware repairs with vendors.
• Manage hardware failures, replacement parts and physical installation.
• Maintain IT asset and equipment records.
• Provide regular updates to users and work closely with Service Desk and resolver teams.
• Perform other IT support duties as required.

About the Role
