Job summary

Greatland is hiring a Technical Support Officer to join our IT team at Telfer. The role delivers timely IT support, maintains infrastructure, and assists with technology projects in a dynamic mining environment.

Site-based with a permanent FIFO roster, the position emphasizes proactive customer service and reliable issue resolution. The role requires at least 2 years of IT support experience, strong Windows and Microsoft 365 skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in IT support or similar role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience maintaining support records and documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows OS.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second level IT support to users.
• Deliver desktop, laptop, and mobile device support at site and corporate levels.
• Maintain IT infrastructure, systems and environments.
• Respond to Helpdesk inquiries and resolve or escalate issues.
• Log, track and resolve service tickets per SLAs.
• Support IT projects as directed by IT Infrastructure Manager.
• Maintain documentation and knowledge articles.
• Develop understanding of Greatland's systems and infrastructure.
