Job summary

Liebherr-Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced leader to oversee critical mining equipment projects and outages across NSW. You will supervise skilled field service teams, coordinate resources and maintain strong customer relationships while driving safe, high‑quality project delivery.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Mobile Plant Technology or Automotive Electrical Technology.
• Experience leading teams in mining, heavy industry, field service, shutdowns or major maintenance environments.
• Strong planning and scheduling skills with the ability to coordinate personnel, resources and project activities.
• Sound computer skills and ability to manage project documentation and reporting requirements.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders and site teams.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement, leading by example in high‑risk environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field service teams to deliver safe, efficient and high‑quality machine shutdowns, outages and project work.
• Coordinate project activities, workforce requirements and forward planning to ensure successful project execution.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships while providing exceptional service and site support.
• Drive a positive safety culture through leadership, compliance, housekeeping standards and safe work practices.
• Monitor team productivity and performance to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to standard.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to operational excellence across service delivery.
