Job summary

Liebherr Group in NSW seeks an experienced leader to drive critical mining equipment projects and outages, supervising skilled field service teams across NSW. You will coordinate complex shutdowns, maintain high safety standards and deliver exceptional service to customers and site stakeholders.

The role focuses on leadership, planning and customer engagement, with opportunities to advance within one of the industry’s leading equipment providers.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Mobile Plant Technology or Automotive Electrical Technology.
• Experience leading teams in mining, heavy industry, field service, shutdowns or major maintenance environments.
• Strong planning and scheduling skills coordinating personnel, resources and project activities.
• Sound computer skills and ability to manage project documentation and reporting.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders and site teams.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement; lead by example in high-risk work environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field service teams to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality machine shutdowns, outages and project work.
• Coordinate project activities, workforce requirements, and forward planning to ensure successful project execution.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships while providing exceptional service and site support.
• Drive a positive safety culture through leadership, compliance, housekeeping standards, and safe work practices.
• Monitor team productivity and performance to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to the required standard.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to operational excellence across service delivery.
