Job summary

The Weir Group is seeking an Area Manager for the South West region, based around Perth/Hazelmere, with a hybrid work arrangement. You will lead sales and aftermarket support for Weir Minerals equipment, manage major accounts, and collaborate across product and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Regular site visits and deep product knowledge will drive growth, with emphasis on safety and achieving KPIs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in minerals processing or related technical sales.
• Strong customer relationship and interpersonal skills.
• Technical aptitude in mechanical equipment or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for key customers and travel regularly to sites.
• Develop and execute growth and retention strategies for aftermarket sales.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Service Specialists to resolve issues.
• Conduct GAP analysis to identify market share opportunities and inform strategy.
• Learn and apply detailed knowledge of Weir’s product portfolio to support customers.
• Travel to South West Perth region; occasional overnight stays.
• Demonstrate 100% commitment to safety culture.
