Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mining, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Understanding of underground mining, mine ventilation principles, and ventilation infrastructure including mine fans.
• Familiarity with Ventsim and mine planning/design tools.

Responsibilities

• Support ventilation studies and engineering calculations for safe air quality and compliant operations.
• Review airflow, pressure, gas, and environmental data to identify trends and inform decisions.
• Contribute to ventilation system design and optimisation to improve airflow and reduce energy use.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations communicating findings to clients and site personnel.
• Collaborate with mining engineers, ventilation specialists, geologists, and operations to integrate ventilation requirements.
