Job summary

Peabody Energy’s Centurion Mine in Queensland seeks an experienced engineering professional to lead the planning, execution and delivery of mining and infrastructure projects. You will manage scope, budgets, schedules and performance, coordinating internal and external stakeholders to achieve safe, efficient outcomes.

Reporting to site leadership, you will provide technical leadership across lifecycles, drive continuous improvements and ensure compliance with engineering standards and company

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience delivering capital, operational or infrastructure projects.
• Strong project management, planning and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, contractors and project risks.
• Strong commercial, technical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
• Commitment to Safety, Integrity, Operational Excellence and Courageous Leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution and delivery of mining and infrastructure projects.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules and performance outcomes.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify and manage project risks while driving safe work practices.
• Provide technical leadership and engineering expertise across project lifecycles.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, statutory requirements and company processes.
• Prepare project reports, forecasts and business case documentation.
