Job summary

Peabody Energy is seeking an experienced Outbye Electrical Coordinator for our Centurion underground mine, about 160 kilometres west of Mackay. You will lead electrical maintenance planning, execution and close-out to ensure reliability and safety.

You will report to the Outbye Superintendent and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with OEMs, contractors and the mine team in a safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

Electrical trade qualification or Engineering degree.
Experience in safety-focused leadership.
Experience with SAP or similar CMMS.
Underground coal mining exposure is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead development and implementation of electrical maintenance strategies.
Provide leadership and development to electrical crews.
Ensure equipment performance aligns with mine plan.
Manage relationships with OEMs, contractors and stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement for reliability and performance.
Ensure statutory inspections, tooling and calibration compliance.
Maintain underground equipment compliance with standards.
Assist with budget through SAP.
Oversee weekly schedules and shutdown planning.
Ensure regulatory and site compliance.
