Job summary

Peabody Energy’s Centurion Mine in Queensland seeks an experienced engineering professional to lead the planning, execution and delivery of mining and infrastructure projects. You will manage scope, budgets, schedules and performance, coordinating internal and external stakeholders to achieve safe, efficient outcomes.

Reporting to site leadership, you will provide technical leadership across lifecycles, drive continuous improvements and ensure compliance with engineering standards and company

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience delivering capital, operational or infrastructure projects.
• Strong project management, planning and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, contractors and project risks.
• Strong commercial, technical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities.

The Opportunity

Peabody is seeking an experienced engineering professional to join our team at Centurion Mine. Reporting through the site leadership team, you will play a key role in the planning, execution and delivery of mining and infrastructure projects. Your focus will be on managing project scope, budgets, schedules and performance outcomes while supporting safe, efficient and successful project delivery across site.
