Job summary

Evident Australia Pty Ltd – Sydney CBD NSW is seeking a Microscopy Application Specialist to lead technical application strategy and support across ANZ. You will enable the sales team through advanced technical expertise, solution design, and vendor coordination, building scalable support systems and delivering structured training programs.

Qualifications

8–12+ years of experience in microscopy, imaging systems, or technical-commercial roles.
Solid technical aptitude with optical/imaging systems.
Experience in sales operations, application support, or commercial roles.
Ability to design, implement and improve workflows and SOPs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver and coordinate technical application support for selected product lines.
Provide hands-on support and escalate complex issues with internal teams and vendors.
Build scalable support systems including ticketing, knowledge capture, and processes.
Establish clear workflows and service standards for ANZ.
Support shift from reactive to proactive, system-driven support to improve efficiency.
Plan and execute internal product training and create competency-aligned training structures.
Advise on marketing collateral and product literature as a subject matter expert.
Act as technical lead on strategic opportunities, tenders, and key accounts.
Influence win strategy, solution positioning, and competitive differentiation in high-value bids.
