Hyatt Place Melbourne Essendon Fields is seeking a dynamic Director of Sales - MICE to lead a team of 3 Sales Executives. Focus on securing high-yield corporate and group accounts and driving hotel revenue through proactive sales efforts.

The role requires a proven track record in hospitality, strong client relationships, and leadership in a fast-paced environment. Location is Melbourne, with opportunities to advance within Hyatt properties worldwide.

Formación

• Relevant degree in Hospitality, Business or Marketing is advantageous.
• Proven track record in corporate, group, and MICE sales.
• Understanding of hospitality industry trends and client needs.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM is preferred.
• Strong leadership and analytical skills.

Responsabilidades

• Follow a structured sales plan to secure high-yield corporate and MICE accounts.
• Meet weekly and monthly targets for room nights and MICE revenue.
• Contribute to sales and marketing strategies to drive growth.
• Negotiate rates, respond to enquiries, prepare proposals and contracts.
• Host familiarisation tours and site inspections for prospective clients.
• Proactively prospect and grow portfolio of corporate and group accounts.
• Represent the hotel at events and drive revenue through partnerships.
